COLORATTACK at LUMINA / Cascais – PT / 2017

COLORATTACK https://vimeo.com/246734268 I’ve started using projectors in 2000, I am doing 3d mapping projections since 2007. Projects are part of the creative process where the projected venues are like phases of creation. Until this year (2017) I was mainly focused on working without colors (black and white). This was an aesthetic choice, but in many cases, it was a video-technical necessity to gain maximum contrast as well. This year something happened. Colors “attacked”. I wanted to share this experience with the visitors of LUMINA Light Festival 2017.

ESCAPE at SIGNAL Prague / 2015

ESCAPE at Signal Prague 2015 https://vimeo.com/147297647 ESCAPE – an artwork by László Zsolt Bordos / alias Bordos.ArtWorks on the facade of the St. Ludmilla Church in Prague. Commissioned by the SIGNAL Festival 2015. ”Escape” is a kind of Ars Poetica of the artist, compiling figurative content with abstract visuals, with a heavy tone music of the great Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson. Beside avoiding cliches, the artwork is aiming to approach 3d mapping content in a different way and to generate feelings trough digital art. Le ZOO / USINE / Geneva / 2016

Le Zoo / Usine 2016 https://vimeo.com/169629766 Last night at the Mapping Festival 2016 The setup: 2 projectors (Christie 4K30Boxer and a 8500Ansi Lumen Christie with short throw lens) + tuil + smoke machines. The idea was to use the projectors as “intelligent lamps” and to give body to the light by using smoke. The 30.000Ansi Lumen projector was powerful enough to project trough the smoke. I wanted to bring the visuals down of the stage and screen. I have used a Macbook Pro for rendered animations and a PC with Touchdesigner for the audio reactive visuals. Special thanks to Ana Ascencio, Andras Schmid, Andras Lerner, Goldy, Will, Walid, Jenny, Andras Nagy and many others!
